Important Update: Temporary Government Funding change can support you to access vocational training.
Now is the ideal time for you to gain new skills. The Victorian Government has made training more accessible to people who have previously accessed vocational training, but who have not yet been successful in securing employment. Vocational programs allow students to prepare for the world of work and learn skills that can be for both their career and day to day life. For more information, sites like upskilled.edu.au could help people considering this option hopefully make a decision.
As a Learn Local Provider and not-for-profit organization, BRACE Education & Training are able to permit Eligibility Exceptions with respect to the ‘upskilling’ and/or the ‘two courses at the same level in a lifetime’ requirements. This can be granted to students commencing training prior to 31st December 2016.
Jane Smith holds a Diploma of Business Administration (BSB50415), but she cannot find work. She would really like to complete a Certificate III Individual Support CHC33015 so that she can work in the Aged Care & Home and Community Care sector, a vastly growing industry.
Jane was previously not eligible for funding because she wasn’t ‘upskilling’ (enrolling in a qualification at a higher level then the one she had already completed).
Jane is NOW eligible for funding and could study with BRACE. We offer real training for real jobs and now is a great time for you to enrol into our courses.
We have midyear courses commencing across all our sites. This is a great opportunity for you to reconnect with employment opportunities through our industry partnerships and the practical placements that we organise for our students.
