Together, SkillsPlus and BRACE run a diverse range of services offering a pathway from education and training into employment. Our delivery is underpinned by our vision that social and economic participation should be a right of all individuals in our communities.

  • 1997 Began delivering New Enterprise Incentive Scheme in Victoria

  • 1998 Commence Work for the Dole program

  • 2003 Began AMEP to meet the needs of migrants and refugees

  • 2006 Awarded New Enterprise Incentive Scheme contract in Victoria

  • 2009 Awarded Job Services Australia contract

  • 2009 Opened the first Ballarat Bargain Browser store

  • 2010 Commenced Workplace Learning Coordinators and LLPN program

  • 2011 Delivered second round of Outreach Services to BlueScope Steel Workers

  • 2013 SkillsPlus and BRACE merged

  • 2014 Became approved RTO on Foundation Skills Approved Provider List

  • 2015 Joined Endeavour Foundation and was awarded jobactive contract

  • 2016 Awarded Transition to Work contract
