Ben joined SkillsPlus in 2010 as the General Manager, later being appointed as the Chief Operating Officer across both SkillsPlus & BRACE in 2014. Ben was then appointed as our CEO in 2016. His career spans a variety of leadership roles across the Community, Education and Employment services sectors. Ben is responsible for the leadership & management of all programs delivered by SkillsPlus & BRACE across Victoria and South Australia, and is a Divisional Leader within Endeavour Foundation, post our amalgamation in 2015. Ben has a wealth of experience in the not for profit sector with a demonstrated track record in managing government funded contracts. His understanding of the sector, balanced with understanding the needs of our community, have enabled him to play a key role in the success of our organisation. His passion is to empower all people, regardless of their background or circumstances, to get a quality education, obtain a meaningful job and be able to actively participate in their local community.
Mandy joined SkillsPlus and BRACE in August 2013 as the Business Development Manager. She is also a Divisional Leader within Endeavour Foundation. Mandy has extensive experience in Employment and Training Services, and was with YES Job Network for 9 years as Business Development Manager. Mandy also ran a consultancy business for 6 years which delivered various outcome focused employment programs to jobactive/DES providers, receiving accolades from DEEWR audits on initiatives and performance. She was also a Founding Board Member of SEMMA. Mandy's formal qualifications are B.A. Monash Uni (Sociology and Serb-Croat Languages), MBTI Accredited Level I and II (Aust. Psych. Press), TAE Certificate IV, AQTF compliance, EEO and OH&S trained.
Lauren St Clair
Lauren joined SkillsPlus and BRACE 2015 as a Quality and Compliance Manager and was appointed RTO Manager in 2016. Lauren first commenced her career in training as an instructional designer. She worked as a Leadership & Management trainer for ANZ before taking on the role as the Learning & Development Manager for Publicis Loyalty (Qantas Club and Frequent Flyer Service Centre). She has over 15 years’ experience managing vocational education, people and processes across a range of corporate and peak industry bodies: Banking and Finance, Airline, Call Centre, Education bodies and Fire Protection. Lauren’s field of expertise is in decision making and leadership within the regulations and funding constraints of an RTO.
