How much does training with BRACE cost?

As of 1 July 2012, where a learner is eligible for State Government funding a tuition fee will apply. All fees will be administered in accordance with the 2015 Guidelines about fees.

A tuition fee is charged to each learner who participates in a Training Program with BRACE.  Fees are calculated on the basis of the hours of training to be undertaken within a calendar year.

BRACE will inform learners in advance of the fees and charges they will have to pay. Tuition fees will be calculated for each learner separately.  This is because a number of factors can affect the calculation such as the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process.

Where applicable, BRACE applies a concession fee on tuition fees. Proof of concession card is required. (Commonwealth Health Care Card, Pensioners Concession card or Veteran's Gold Care, Indigenous students).

Please note: For 'on the job' training, fee information is provided at the first sign up interview.
