Health Services Assistance involves the worker in direct client contact under supervision. Our Certificate III in Health Services Assistance course has been tailored to meet industry needs and standards through comprehensive consultation with industry professionals.

This qualification covers workers in a range of work roles who provide assistance to health professional staff with the care of clients. Health Services Assistance involves the worker in direct client contact under supervision.

This course includes an integrated work placement component of a minimum of 80 - 120 hours. 

The students who enrol in our Health Services Assistance course generally complete their practical placement with Peninsula Health, Monash Health or Dandenong Valley Hospital. We organise Practical Placement for all our Certificate III Health Services Assistance students.

It is required that our students undergo a National Police Check prior to commencing the practical placement. Practical placement may not be possible if a check that is carried out contains adverse outcomes. In this instance, you may not be able to complete your qualification and your employment opportunities may be affected. If you are aware of, or concerned about anything that may appear on a Police Check, please discuss this at your enrolment interview.
