Although he lacked work experience, his Employment Consultant, saw a person with great potential and she was confident in his abilities to succeed. She referred Brody to SkillsPlus Youth Education where he completed Year 10. He went on to finish a Certificate IV in Computer Systems and a Certificate II in Warehousing Operations.
Since joining SkillsPlus, Brody has gained his driver's licence, been very successful; when completing his Work for the Dole activity at Peninsula Food Alliance (which he loved so much that he did not want to leave) and he will successfully reach 12 months of permanent full-time employment with Bowens/Timber Truss on 28/11/15. Brody is now living an independent fulfilling life and has developed into a confident young man with a great future in front of him.
