This qualification provides people looking to work with children in a supervised or unsupervised capacity with an understanding of child centred approaches, knowledge about learning and development, and using organisation policies, procedures and individual children’s profiles to plan activities and provide care to children.

PRACTICAL PLACEMENT

This course includes an integrated practical placement component of a minimum of 120 hours. We organise the practical placement for students who enrol in this courseIt is required that our students undergo a Working with Children and a National Police Check prior to commencing the practical placement.
