ABOUT THE COURSE

This qualification prepares you for work in residential group homes, training resource centres, day respite centres, open employment services, other community settings and in clients’ homes. During this course, you will engage with local services on a work placement, where you will gain “hands-on” skills and knowledge.

PRACTICAL PLACEMENT

This course includes an integrated practical placement component of a minimum of 120 hours. We organise the practical placement for students who enrol in this courseIt is required that our students undergo a National Police Check prior to commencing the practical placement.
