ABOUT THE COURSE

This qualification covers workers who provide a range of community services focusing on rehabilitation and support for people affected by mental illness and psychiatric disability. On completion you will have the skills and knowledge needed to implement community based activities focusing on mental health, mental illness and psychiatric disability, and mental health promotion work.

PRACTICAL PLACEMENT

This course includes an integrated practical placement component of a minimum of 80 hours. We organise the practical placement for students who enrol in this courseIt is required that our students undergo a National Police Check prior to commencing the practical placement.
