New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS)
Become your own boss! The New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS) is designed to assist people who have a great business idea and want to start their own self-employment venture.
Our qualified and knowledgeable NEIS team is committed to assist you every step of the way to ensure the long-term success of your business.
If you’re unemployed and eligible, we can help you complete a recognised qualification, provide you with up to 39 weeks of income support, and mentor you for 12 months.
Our NEIS Program includes training in:
• Marketing and promotion
• Legal and administrative requirements
• Financial and operational planning
• Record keeping
• Developing a business plan
Participants who successfully complete their training will receive either a Certificate III in Micro Business Operations (BSB30315) or a Certificate IV in Small Business Management (BSB40415).
The NEIS Program provides accredited small business training, business advice and mentoring for eligible job seekers, as well as ongoing income support for up to 30 weeks.
