Chloe’s journey with SkillsPlus and BRACE

Chloe Paydon joined Transition to Work at SkillsPlus in May 2016. Her goal was to begin a career in administration after completing Year 11 VCE.

Chloe had previous experience working as a Census Field Officer, Teacher’s Assistant and Hairdresser Assistant, but had no qualification in business or administration.

Aruna Pandiri, Youth Coach at Narre Warren, believed that Chloe’s work ethic, reliability and communication skills made her the perfect candidate for a traineeship in administration at BRACE Education & Training.

She referred Chloe to the role of Training RTO Administration Assistant at BRACE, and helped her prepare for her interview and organise a Working with Children Check and Police Check.

The employer was very impressed by Chloe’s knowledge and experience, and offered her the traineeship at BRACE!

Chloe has been working full-time as a Training RTO Administration Assistant at BRACE for nine months, and recently began a Certificate III in Business Administration (Education)!

She is excited to complete her qualification, learn new skills and continue to advance her career in administration. “The whole experience has been really positive, and I’m very excited for my future with BRACE”, says Chloe.

Chloe has become a highly valued member of the Compliance team at BRACE Education & Training, and is kicking goals in her traineeship!

“Chloe is a great addition to our team. She is willing to help everyone in all departments, has taken on the ‘On-Track’ Project, come up with great ideas and is extremely helpful,” explains Jenny Tuer, Contract and Compliance Manager at BRACE.

Thank you to Aruna for helping Chloe achieve her goal, and well done to Chloe on becoming an important part of the team at SkillsPlus and BRACE!
